Why does the process take so long?

Historically, solar is an industry where most things are done offline. There’s a lot that goes into getting a solar system up and running than installing the equipment.

Our process is significantly shorter and more streamlined because we’re able to leverage advanced machine learning to get the most accurate and transparent price for homeowners. We also cut out the middleman–salespeople and system designers–from our process and pass the savings directly to the homeowner.

On average, homeowners who go solar with Monalee are able to get their systems up and running within 50 days. When looking at traditional solar companies or other online solar companies, the timeline is upwards of 90 days.
