Solar Tariffs are doubling in 2025.
Go solar in 2024 and save up to $5,500 on your system.
From system design all the way to activation, we’re here to make your switch to solar is simple, streamlined, and cost-efficient.
Your Monalee project kicks off with an in-person site survey.
Site surveys are important because they give us a comprehensive overview of your home’s electrical setup and the condition of your roof.
During the site survey, our technician will need access to both your attic and your breaker panel.
While usually not the case, sometimes certain home upgrades are needed in order to comply with local regulations in your area such as a main panel upgrade, re-roof, or the addition of a sub-panel.
Learn moreAfter completing your site survey, our team works to finalize the details of your solar design.
During this phase we confirm solar panel placement, design an electrical setup for your system, and prepare permitting documents.
Our design process typically takes around a week, but can sometimes take longer.
As soon as we finalize your solar design, we send it to you for approval.
Learn moreAs soon as you approve your solar design, we compile your application package and submit it to your local jurisdiction on your behalf.
Permitting is a fairly straightforward process but turnaround times vary depending on where you live. Some offices process requests in a day, while others take a few weeks.
While you wait, rest assured that we are actively checking in on the status of your application.
Learn moreOn the day of your solar system installation, you can expect our crew to arrive in the morning ready to work.
Our team will need access to your electrical panel and possibly your attic or your backyard.
Most installations take about eight hours, but some projects require an additional day or two to complete.
Remember that an adult over the age of 18 should be present.
Learn moreBefore ‘turning on’ your solar system, you need to pass a final inspection with your local jurisdiction’s office and receive Permission to Operate (PTO) from your utility company.
Final inspections are typically scheduled within two weeks of your installation date. We then submit your passed inspection report to your local utility company for PTO.
Once PTO is approved, our technical support team guides you through turning on your system and how to monitor your solar production.
